General information

“We can always make a plan!”
This is one of the sayings you’ll hear from us on a regular basis. It also applies to most of the information above…if you read through something and you feel you have a problem let us know what it is and we will make a plan.

Moya Tribe Adventures travels with a 4×4, 3ton truck. We will collect and drop off all guests at the rendezvous point.
The truck is equipped with a fridge, cool boxes, power points for charging your electrical equipment, sound system, roof rack, storage compartments and all the camping equipment

Moya Tribe Adventures caters for students only!! We specialize in taking young adventurous people on safari trips around Southern Africa. The age limit is between 18 and 28. Our groups range between 6-12 people per trip. Small enough to give you 24/7 personal service, big enough for a party!

In the unlikely event of rescue and medical assistance being needed, other than that provided by Moya Tribe Adventures, the participant or his/her insurance company shall be liable for the entire cost thereof.

As we are a group of students, we will be doing a lot of the activities and chores together as a team to ensure the smooth running of the tour. We will be responsible for the preparation of the food and setting up camp, but groups will be organized to help with the cooking and other chores. We feel that this all part of the fun of travelling through Africa and if it’s a huge problem, we can always make another plan.
Guests are advised to inform Moya Tribe adventures as soon as possible if one is a vegetarian, allergic to certain foods or if one has a special request to be served as a meal.

We spent most nights in tents accommodating two adults, but we also make use of chalets, rondawels, and lodges. On all trips we also offer opportunities to sleep underneath the stars. Note that on the Elephant Coast trip we will spend 3 nights under the stars. Single travelling guests have the option of sharing a tent or sleeping in their own tent. We ask that you inform us whether you’ll be willing to share a tent or not.

Due to the nature of hiking, camping, touring, driving and the general third-world conditions on our tour/ventures, Moya Tribe Adventures, their employees, guides and affiliates, do not accept responsibility for any client or dependant thereof in respect of any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, fatality, delay or inconvenience experienced from time of departure to time of return, or subsequent to date of return, such loss, injury, etc. arising out of any such tour/ venture organised by Moya Tribe Adventures. Should a tour/venture be cancelled by Moya Tribe Adventures due to weather conditions or other reasons, it shall either refund full payment or offer a substitute tour/venture. Should Moya Tribe Adventures have to curtail a tour/venture for any reason due to weather conditions or other factors after the time of departure, Moya Tribe Adventures will not be liable for any form of refund whatsoever, although everything will be done to complete a tour/venture or to utilise an alternative arrangement or venue. Should a client decide to curtail a tour for any reason whatsoever, Moya Tribe Adventures will not be liable for any refund whatsoever. Before departing on a tour, clients will be required to agree to the above conditions and general information.
