Day 1:

Guests are collected at OR Tambo International in Johannesburg. From there the route leads us eastwards towards Mpumalanga where the Bushveld greets us. We pass through small country towns like Belfast, Lydenburg and Dullstroom where we’ll spend the first night in this small fly fishing village.

Day 2:

Wake up to a fresh trout breakfast which after we’ll spend the morning fly fishing, trap shooting and exploring Dullstroom’s sights and scenery. Around mid-day we follow the Drakensberg escarpment route where rock walls, pockets of indigenous forest, mountain slopes and vast plantations lead us to the world’s third largest canyon: The Blyde River Canyon. Today we’ll take you up into the Canyon on an abseiling adventure where after we’ll spend the evening camping out in the Canyon. Here we’ll be entertained by local culture dancing and a real African braai.

Day 3:

Start off the day with an adrenaline pumping river raft down the Blyde River. After we pack up camp we head to Manyeleti Game Reserve which shares an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand game reserve. Here you can expect close encounters with Africa’s big 5 and various other wild and rare species. We spend the night in the Parks main camp.

Day 4&5:

Moya Tribe strives to provide opportunities to the adventure spirited traveller with options for travelling the less travelled often uncharted little bush roads. You will spend day 4 and 5 in the bush where we’ll stay amongst the wild in comfortable traditional huts. Enjoy 3 meals per day while Wian escorts you on day and night drives on open game vehicles.

Day 6:

Today we enter the world-renown Kruger National Park at Orpen Gate. The Kruger is big 5 territory and has more recorded species of wildlife than any other African game reserve. The park also incorporates nine of Africa’s major eco systems and more than 23000 plant species. We overnight at Skukuza rest camp, the biggest camp which is situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River where we’ll spend the night in our safari tents.

Day 7:

We leave Skukuza on our extended game drive and follow the road to Crocodile Bridge rest camp where we’ll spend our last evening in the bush.

Day 8:

Today we travel through the scenic Lowveld area towards Baberton where we will go paragliding down a mountain… enjoy a pub lunch in town and pay a visit to Chimp Eden (chimpanzee sanctuary). Set in the heart of “Jock of the Bushveld” country, Baberton is known as the “Gem of the Lowveld”, since the discovery of gold in 1884. In the late afternoon after the week’s exhilarating adventures we head to Badplaas Spa where you can revitalize your body, mind and soul.

Day 9

We head back to Johannesburg where we will drop you off at the airport around mid-day.
